Alexandria, VA is a city located on the West bank of the Potomac River. It was founded as a
seaport town in 1749, and it is located just six miles south of the center of Washington, D.C.,
four miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and twenty-eight miles from Washington
Dulles International Airport, a major international airport and commercial hub.
